If Merck were to indeed enter into some kind of partnering arrangement with Imm ,and subsequently de risk the company and substantially improve both the companies prospects and share price,perhaps as they have done on other occasions,they may want to take up an equity position in the company , perhaps an alternative to owning the company, if they were unable to acquire it.This could be made possible by the shelf registration the company has in place.Just some musings while we await news.The share price appears to be remaining very static.
