I see that you are quoting, in several of your posts, yesterday's article by Nick McKenzie titled "Australian miner’s plan to pour millions into pocket of Congo middleman" which appeared in The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age....

This article and a link to it was posted yesterday in at least two AVZ threads.

Nick McKenzie is actually doing Nigel and AVZ a favour, probably without realising it.

If you read it carefully you will see that neither Nigel nor anybody else in AVZ team has done anything illegal.

What Nigel did was on the boderline of being legal / illegal which only proves that he went as far as he possible could have in fighting for AVZ.

In other words, Nigel pushed the envolope to the absolut limit without breaking any DRC or Australian laws.

He showed us how committed and agressive he was in pursuing shareholders' interests (that's us). This is a committment and tenacity that can only be commended.

Wouldn't we want to see other companies' directors being equally committed to their companies and their shareholders?

How many of them are ready to do that much?

Also, notice that McKenzie's article, roughly half of it, is in quotation marks - he is quoting Transparency International's Clancy Moore.

So, is it fair to say that McKenzie has not done much of an investigation into AVZ's supposed wrongdoings?

All this 'acclaimed' investigative journalist did was copy and paste and put his name on it....

And in some places he is using a word 'suggest' and we all know what 'suggest' means, not much really.
