The article literally says “Appen has selected AWS as its primary cloud for its AI solutions and innovation”.
Doesn’t prove anything about them being the undisputed leader in A.I. data. If they really were that, their revenue wouldn’t be shrinking, their major customers wouldn’t be cutting back on work, the company wouldn’t be lighting cash on fire, and they wouldn’t have to do deeply discounted raises into a constantly sinking share price.
