While there's story after story of cost blowouts in Australia - the same is not true in Brazil.
SIgma's DFS showed total cash cost forecast of $539/T. They've just finished first quarter and managed to achieve $577/T (less than 10% variance).
DFS:
First quarter
"Adjusted cash operating costs(1) for lithium concentrate produced at the Company's Grota do Cirilo operations averaged $505/tonne in the quarter. The adjusted FOB Vitoria cost for the third quarter (which includes transportation, and warehousing) totaled $577/ tonne "
