I doubt if Brookfield is offering to spend / invest $20B in renewable energy plant in Aust out of goodness of heir heart or philanthropy to ‘save the planet’....... they will be looking for a healthy return, paid for in miltiples by the blood sweat and tears of the Aust public, supplemented by whatever Aust govt hsndouts and cheap loans they can get their sticky fingers on whilst funnelling earnings away through tax havens so the Aust tax system misses out on clawing much back.
