Isn't it funny that only 2 months back BHP were stating in not so many words "that Lithium was beneath them" and saying train lines and owning them is a stature of power and success and in the Pilbara there are 3 lines and the BHP one runs right past the door of Pilbara Lithium who send trucks.. small swipe but true.. but now that PLS have paid out a good dividend things are changing.
Since then (last 2/3 months) RIO, FMG, Gina, MIN, IGO and a few other big players from around the world have all acquired, grown and or are trying to grow their interest into the Lithium, REE and Copper market.
So here we turn to overnight news... it is good for the market that BHP are finally starting to talk about the critical minerals side of the market. It doesn't say they are investing yet but it is a sign they are coming IMO and with it large investment dollars.
