They were concerned with being able to successfully run and cement casing at MK1 in the final 8.5” hole due to deterioration of the borehole condition. Scott was worried they wouldn’t get the liner down far enough in the first instance. And then worried that the cement job wouldn’t work it’s way back up past obstructions to the toe of the previous casing level. They had to plug and abandon.
