    @roblun

    great posts. thx for those.
    Having had some time to digest...

    Bonzer is not over. One way to look at it is they have hit the low grade zones. Im perplexed as to why they have not categorically said the Li is spod sourced. Instead they have said something about sending samples off for petrographic analysis...wtf? that should have bene done at the same time they split the core for lab analysis...and we should have results by now.

    Its still hard to marry the surface sampling with the drill results. The surface sampling hits were ore grade lithium (im assuming its spodumene). the question still remains, where did these come from? Are we looking at transported surface rocks? or is there sub horizontal faulting that has displaced the surface rocks from the fresh rocks underneath? Having a handle on granite/pegmatite/host rock 3D geometry is of paramount importance. And to do this you need to understand/identify the rock types either side of the pegmatites in the drill, and try to correlate those with the rocks either side of the Li pegs sampled at surface. You also go back to the peg rock chips and look at trace element data to see if there is correlation between what is in the drilled pegs and what is on surface. To me, it seems like there is an obvious disconnect between the drill results and surface sampling. This generally happens when you have late stage brittle faulting that results in displacement of the horizon of interest.

    If they have a good handle on all of this, the Phase 2 drilling should come up with the goods - assuming they are there.

    Another point to consider is why there has not been much focus on the "host" rocks to the north of the granite. Both of DLIs prospects (future mines) are in host rocksto the north of the granite. (im taking the red dotted line as the 33 supersuite "granite package" extent)

    Im saying this based on the limited data we are shown (so it means i could well be missing something)...I dont know how much sampling they have done in the rocks to the north of the granite. But the only thing i see here is the Swallow tail Cu prospect.
