I appreciate you letting us all know that, unlike your (1) forum name, you are a (2) Chinese Communist Party member. That comment is as (3) insulting as the (4) antisemitic ones praising Hamas. I'll make you a (5) deal, if you are not Chinese, I will refrain from commenting on (6) Australian politicians (if you are Australian) if you refrain from commenting on (7) American politicians.

You got it all wrong. I will try to explain what you got wrong.

I'm quoting above your entire post where I have inserted yellow numbering so that I can better address certain points.

Also, I'm not sure if Hot Copper moderators will allow my post to remain here as it is unrelated to AVZ.
I hope they will, so that you will get to read my response, but one never knows. (You may consider screen shooting it just in case it is removed.)

Re (1): My or anybody else's forum name is irrelevant. One cannot draw any meaningful conclusion regarding nationality of the bearer of that name or anything else, for that matter. If my forum name was MickeyMouse, would you think that I am an American or Mickey Mouse cartoon fan?

Re (2): How did you get this far as to bring up the CCP membership? That's one mighty leap on your part. I'm speechless.

Re (3): I don't see anything insulting here. If you follow closely international politics for an extended period of time, in particular Chinese and American foreign policies since the end of the WW2, you will arrive to certain conclusions. My conclusion was stated in my post. Yours is clearly different. You and me have the right to our own opinions.
If you were an American (I don't know whether you are or not), than I would say : Do you not come from "USA, the land of the free"? Do you not value our rights to have our opinions?

Re (4): I would suggest to you let us not go that way. I know, more than many - it appears that it would also include you, judging by that particular comment (4) of yours - about anything that pertains to Israel / Judaism / zionism / antisemitism / Jewish history and so forth.
I don't think that it would be a wise choice for you to debate me on any of those issues, not to mention the fact that we are on AVZ forum.

Re (5): I do not need to make any deal, neither with you nor with anybody else. I don't mean to sound rude, I'm just being straight.

Re (6) & (7): Here I am a bit puzzled. First, I would not mind a tiny bit if you were commenting on Australian, current and past, politicians or any other nation politicians for that matter. I could even suggest you some names from both sides of the Australian political spectrum.
Needless to say, I would not find it offensive at all if you were critical of said politicians - remember, people are entitled to their opinions (USA, the land of the free, in case you happen to be an American).

Second, this the somewhat puzzling bit for me, I would think that, if you were leaning towards GOP then you would not mind me making critical comments regarding Democrats. And, conversly, If you supported the Democrats, then I would expect you not to mind me commenting on the Republicans. But that's not the case - you've stated that you didn't want me to comment on (any?) American politicians.
