For this chart (I will quote it below), the share prices don't have to be in the same currency. Why? The reason is very simple!
What is measured is the difference of each share price 3 years ago and now. For example, AKE's 110.97% growth is calculated by deducting its share price 3 years ago from its current share price and put it into percentage. As you can see clearly in the chart, AKE current share price is still much higher than 3 years ago.
The same calculation is used on ALB and LTHM. And you can see clearly in the chart their individual current share price is lower than 3 years ago.
I actually didn't believe it when I first saw it. So I made the other chart comparing only ALB and LTHM which are in the currency:
The result is the same! Look at it! They are in the same currency.
The current share prices of ALB and LTHM are less than what they were 3 years ago!! That is a fact!
The fact is in the last 3 years, ALB and LTHM, which are listed in NYSE, instead of making gain like AKE, which is listed in ASX, made a loss. Any gain that they made in the last 3 years has been wiped out and more. That is a fact!
Be prepared to have the gain of your NewCo shares listed in that fantastic NYSE wiped out every 3 years.
