I guess you must have bought a lot more shares on the rallies since. Buying into news, especially before a severe small cap bear market can be painful. I've taken very good profits on this but I'm also currently sitting on a big loss on part holdings. It doesn't phase me at all. I've been through plenty of these cycles. They always turn around.
If you bought to hold into production like others here, as I see it our odds of a much higher sp are very good. Hopefully your research gives the the confidence to hold until then.
I will be making use of this sp though, by transferring a large part of my holding into my SMSF to take a much needed tax loss. As an added bonus, when I later take profits, I'll only pay 15% tax, or 7.5% if holding beyond a year for the bigger gains. I look at the potential risks but I'm very optimistic with what I see. Good luck although I don't think we need much luck, patience is going to be key.
