It hasn't arrived here yet but Tesla has its own insurance in the USA that in most cases is far less expensive than standard car insurance. There is a catch though, the car monitors your driving habits, if you tailgate, turn too fast or continually exceed the speed limit your safety score drops and your premium goes up even if you haven't had any accident. Works really well for some drivers but not others.
