just a clarification on my position: I'm unconvinced that nuclear would be cheaper source of electricity. many countries heavily subsidise nuclear energy.
in answer though: as I said, suburbs put up with coal generation in the midst, why not nuclear?
on energy Gov should be ignoring nimbys.
