We don't always agree@Zior but we're certainly on the same page with this one.
The absolute positive from my perspective is that this is the first external endorsement of efficacy of an IMU product from an entity or person not on the IMU payroll. (And yes, I'm aware of HERVaxx but that was only ever endorsed by the paid-by-IMU IDMC and Leslie). So that's fantastic.
We wondered how - in the face of two dismal years, the embarrassing-but-never-admitted walk away from the b-cell platform (I know, I know, they still make noises, but the market is fully aware its of lack of value and has marked IMU accordingly), the first strike remuneration report and the value-destroying capital raises - the Board could possibly put its hand out for even more! But now we know.
As Zior indicates, these guys knew, and they are relying on the sugar-hit of this announcement for shareholders to overlook the bald-faced greed of the application for bonus shares.
Please don't confuse the work of Professor Fong with the disgustingly-seeked reflected glory of Hopper and co.
However many millions are added to the value of IMU by this scientific advancement, millions more would accrue if we had a less hubristic and less self interested Board.
Vote NO to all additional remuneration.
