    Most of conservative people l speak to were/are happy with the idea of improving the recognition of indigenous people of Australia.

    The problem was the model the government offered up in the referendum was way too vague and poorly delivered.

    Hence they voted no as they really weren't sure what they were voting for.

    They usual suspects of the hc RWNJ brigade refuse to discuss the topic of improving the lot of the indigenous Australians. lnstead they just make excuses to deflect.

    Any decent human can see that we could do a much better job than we have been doing previously .

    Sooner or later we will end up recognition system that doesn't need a referendum.
