Thats what happens when a Govt goes to the right. A short term thinking decision which has zero long term value. Finger in the dyke stuff. The cost to the health service long term because of smokers has been highlighted innumerable times around the world. Giving tax cuts in a high inflationary economy seems insane. Give this mob a few years and they too will get kicked over the cliff, just like in Oz.
