    a) Go back years of TMT threads, you will find a disliking for AVL and how they run things going back years and years. So there is an absolute precedent for people being unimpressed with a sudden proposal to merge with them.

    b) To keep asserting that a combined no vote it just the result of some social media, gang mentality, circlejerking, and NOT adults who can make their own decisions and just happen to mostly agree with each other, shows a complete and utter lack of understanding or insight into the minds of a group of people with large amounts of money invested in a company and what they expect from that investment.

It's this fact Sabine, (whether you intend it or not) that you continue to reduce the bulk of TMT holders to a bunch of uninformed sheep who only don't like this deal because the bloke posting above doesn't like it, and we are working ourselves up into an uninformed frenzy instead of waiting for the 'facts',,, how is anyone supposed to respect anything you say when the respect you return waivers between 1 and 0% most of the time?

It's almost bordering on comical and I actually think you probably don't enjoy how deep you have been dragged into the weeds to battle us, so it really is starting to raise the question, why?
How is someone this steadfast and relentlessly against adults with their own money riding on the line, being able to make up their own mind and decide for themselves if 12:1 is personally enough for their shares or not?

This is why it goes to a vote. If it's a few crazy people with outrageous expectations, then the vote goes through no issues and likely the deal was fair. If there ends up being a large portion of voters saying this is not good enough, then maybe that should start putting a spotlight on the deal itself, rather than what mechanisms have allowed holders to pool their voting power?

There are probably endless examples of small holders being ran over and having no say when a larger entitiy is calling the shots, but it seems to actually be offending you in a real way that in this case, small holders might actually get to have some input on what WE think is best for us?
