Can I just add that this is the joy of working with diagonals. Folks can just draw them in wherever they like to suit an idea.
There could also be an argument made that what you are looking at is a simple descending triangle? Have you compared the probabilities from either pattern?

www.patternsite.com Bulkowski spends a fair bit of time breaking them down. If you’re like me you will need to read it a few times to grasp it but well worth it.

As to your chart, I see your happy to rely on wicks on the diagonal but solids on the horizontal. Are you happy with that?

In my opinion after a super quick look you both could be deemed right but I also have to say, who cares? I reckon there are far more important indicators at work than waiting to see if a flag pattern plays out. But that’s just me and my opinion.
Get yourself into TA systems that are far more reliable and have a far better % of success would be my sentiment.
