Until CXO can meet its goals and reduce its production costs it will continue to heavily lag.

    • Core Lithium (ASX: CXO): Spodumene costs of A$2,386 a tonne (US$1,580) in the September quarter. The company expects to get costs down to A.,165 to A$1,250 a tonne (US$770-830) in FY24.

    Interesting Takeaways

Production costs for Core Lithium jumped to $2,386 a tonne in the September quarter due to several headwinds including increased stripping costs (the process that removes the layer of rock and soil that covers the ore body), cost inflation and lower-than-expected ore grades. For the quarter

    PLS MktCap:$10.8B AKE MktCap:$5.4B
    LTR MktCap:$3.3B MktCap:$6.4B

    CXO MktCap: $673.1M

Of course if it can reach these targets the reward will be significant as you can see from out peer comparisons and the market cap we have achieved previously..
