I haven't seen the article but if a US miner wants one they have two options.

1. Build One
2. Buy One.

the first is excecedignly hard.
The second well there are four 5 "plants" I know of.

1. LYC's more fully priced but also developing in the US.
2. Iluka's. Well, its a smaller part of the major sand mining operation. (I worked for them for several years).
3. WES's - Similarly smaller part of a behemoth.
4. ARU's - nothing built yet. Not even within 3 months of FID as far as I know.
5. ASM's - nothing built yet.Not even within 9 months of FID as far as I know.

Now, I have holdings in the latter two and have been involved in the development of the first which showed how damn hard it was and still has political interference. I don't mean about REE prices either. So for the ones, I hold make me an offer at 3X the current price which is at least what should be required and I'll be happy to sell my interest. At less than that. They're dreaming.

Anyway, I (and probably the whole world by now) are used to, and damn near sick of, Big Talking Americans. I support them being an ally and all but maybe they could think about sorting out a non- laughable Presidential candidate for 2025. If they want to be taken seriously. I'm encouraged by Nikki Hayely's gains overnight.
