IA have simply reinstated a uranium ban that was in place for decades and removed by a Siumut led coalition government in 2013. Although, this time around they have defined an actual limit rather than just a blanket ban that was in place previously.

Trying to convince the Greenland public that the Kuannersuit project will make the country rich is a hard task. Who is going to believe a Mining company? Even harder is trying to convince the Greenland public that the project is safe, with all the anti-uranium folks running around telling stories and especially a government that does not support the project.
