I wouldn't be so quick.... if he's guilty, its likely incidental for the case. I don't think either are witnesses to be relied on. both are suspect, I think it likely both are at least embellishing and maybe even confabulating. making stuff up to cover for the vague memory, though I suspect Lehrmann remembers every detail - if he's guilty.
