When DM said there's no more development work to do before sales, I was like:"This is a lemon!". Who on earth would have interest in your PoC on a 60nm node when 22nm ReRAM is now the norm in production? Apparently non of the board members or their sidekicks have a clue about the the real world industry.
Yes, IMEC is a big name for sure, but as someone stated above, they're interested in the science and more than happy to provide service (on their old school node of 60nm) as long as you pay them big bucks.
By the way, a bit of the industry trend: IMEC co-oped with Intrinsic to scale down their technology to 50nm only in Feb 2022. While Weebit worked with CEA-Leti made it to 22, and China's Innostar announced their 28nm ReRAM production line built around that period. Oh also don't forget the biggest name in ReRAM business Crossbar, they could have some breakthrough as well?
And it's worth mentioning, ReRAM is NOT the only technology to fill the gap between DRAM and NAND, there are MRAM and PCRAM (ask google if you wanted to know more) which are currently more matured than and competing with ReRAM for the market share.
My 2 cents, not to down ramp the SP. Just don't want to see some of you short-term traders ranting and raving next year in case PoC's successful on 20nm and still not being sold...
