I've said it before, if they truly had something Silicon Valley would be all over it. That's where they are based and word spreads quickly.
Why would a suitor not acquire the whole thing for 20c and develp it inhouse if it were worth billions. AUD is weak, a US based company is essentially only paying 60% of the full price. Why let it go to PL5/PL6 and if successful potentially pay much more. Heck, they could offer 15c today and have it.
If they truly had something this should never have fallen below 10c again.
An after market announcement of that magnitude reeks of management incompetence and contempt for shareholders.
