Yeah when the camera is off, James shoulders lift. He definitely is not for the very top role, but very likeable demeanour. I told him that the most important thing is engaging the shareholders, especially in current times. I told him that we dont care if he goes to Singapore, Korea, the U.S - whatever, take pictures, put it up on the website, even if it doesnt result in anything. We would rather see what the board is doing than guessing all day everyday and possibly getting surprised by some progress in an announcement. He says he is reachable, we say he is not... he needs to improve in that area. We talked about G.S and the $800US price prediction and i would have been upset if he just scoffed at it but i was pretty happy that they have a plan in place and they will get the production costs down to combat those levels. That was coupled with Dougal's responses.
They do need to get those Governance issues sorted, whether he is staying in the top job just for now or not...
One thing JB did talk about off the camera is that they are dead keen to get an offtake sorted, and they are working hard towards that. We get ripped to shreds on the spot and we want to get away from it. I felt that he was genuine with that.
