at $800usd/t we still make money from PLL's offtake and a qtr of the cost is paid to SYQ from PLL. we still need to honour that, but it would become very problematic for PLL. SYQ would still turn i small profit unless the O/A floor kind of price comes to the party.
Thats if JB's $1000AUD/t of 5.4-5.7% is in play.
That reminds me of another thing i said to JB. I said "WHEN demand increases and converters start buying again, how do we ensure that our 5.4-5.7% concentrate is the first cab off the rank?
He bunkered down on "by offtake agreement"
I have no doubts that he is putting quite a bit of effort into an offtake
