Nuclear subs need to be refueled every 30 years, and produce something like 50-200 MW, and I'm assuming with sea water cooling.

Should be an easy enough calculation though.

But I'd imagine: it might compare favourably if fuel had to be flown in by plane, but less so if the road existed so fuel could come by truck. I guess by plane might cost double for fuel vs trucked.

I remember mention of Cat 3516 CHD diesel generator, as being efficient and clean. I think those are 2.5MW, $500k, consume 200-400L fuel per hour. I guess $4 per liter if flown in. = $30k per day of fuel? $10m PA. Very, very rough estimations. But it shows that fuel probably costs magnitudes more than the CAPEX on the generator. So a high CAPEX microreactor is possibly a plausible alternative. But it would mean NVA is an 'innovative company' with associated risk - ore sorting, microreactor, rotocopters.

either an innovator or a BOD in need of clear direction which is why the strategic review is underway. There are obviously many options and it looks like the BOD are suffering from a case of TMI, blurting out any idea they comes across. A strategic review is underway by professionals, there is no need to throw ideas out there every week... Micro reactors, electric copters may be a plausible option and I'm sure the strategic review will investigate this so why divert attn away 'again'. Not having a dig at all these options, just saying let the professionals hired to conduct the review do their job as it seems like a shambles.
