The shorts smell blood in the water.
Cover with this massive discounted cap raise, then what?
Will they swim away? Or recognise that MSB is drowning, still only having secured a few quarters of funding for trials that are no where near guaranteed to succeed?
If I were them I would close with the cap raise, then pile back on and drive the price down further. How low of a market cap will Oaktree tolerate before they begin strongly reconsidering their large outstanding loans?
Must be great holding shorts on a company that goes under completely.
Some people at Oaktree must be sweating.
