Agree to a point. We can only speculate but (as a CFO myself) the CFO would do the numbers game but the real skill in any grant application are the words. In this case it would have been rather technical re what the drug is doing and the trials etc etc. In my day, yes, I'd put bits together such as the state of the company financials and future requirements etc but the guts of the application is done by the knowledge people - in this case, I suspect the good Dr Gourlay.

All spec as each company works differently.

But, it's great to get the funds so well done TEAM.
