Amusing how journalists can put a negative or positive spin based on what will maximize clicks etc. Amanda made clear a good few points: that Lynas will keep growing with demand which is still robust, the different elements of the expansion do not work in lockstep and will ramp up at different rates and ramping up is inherently unpredictable. Now, some would prefer their CEO to give glowing predictions and forecasts but I much prefer a pragmatic assessment of how things are likely to play out over the next months. Demand is robust among Lynas' customers, China has some demand issues which it is addressing, green transition is underway and Lynas has a growth strategy which it is executing just fine. Amanda's answer to the question of whether Lynas will be able to sell all 10500t of the upgraded production, 'Absolutely'. Now that the Malaysian license issue has been put to bed and customers are reassured that LAMP isn't closing down anytime soon, the Lynas sales team is busy writing up new contracts to place future production. I'm all for research and and reading media but I will base my decisions on info straight from the horse's mouth.
