Cavico, Ecopro, Vinfast and perhaps another company establishing a JV to buy 50% of the downstream business together, leaving BSX with 50% ownership and cashing it up. The partners may wish to take an equity stake in BSX as well, who knows. Cavico because they have an MOU's with both VinES and BSX, are a major Vietnamese conglomerate with a nickel mine and refinery which processes only up until the MHP point and made this comment upon signing their MOU with VinES:

"Bui Quang Ha, chairman of the Board of Directors of Cavico Lao Mining Company, also highly appreciated Vingroup’s strategy of building an electric car brand that is “made in Vietnam”.“As a domestic enterprise, we look forward to contributing to that great goal through our partnership with VinES to secure the supply for battery production – the most important part of electric cars,” said Ha. — VNS"

Ecopro because they are still here and in that last interview Scott mentioned a cathode manufacturer potentially teaming up with a car manufacturer etc. Vinfast because well, they are Vietnamese, have an MOU with both BSX and Cavico.

This is merely a theory, don't take my word for it, do your own research and GLTAH.

Cavico is also involved in rare earths so this is likely, IMO, part of the deal being worked out as we speak.

This less than easily usable site doesn't allow me to cut and paste below text I've already written, it demands it go at the start of the post so I'll give a link to Cavico rare earths involvement in a reply to this post instead
