Totally agree Piwi. And all the transport options come with their own issues. Liquified transport is very unlikely to be economic in spite of Kawasaki's best efforts, ammonia is probably most preferred in many project plans as it's well understood, but comes with large energy losses at both ends as you say, that just adds to already poor economics. And early days on MCH with trial shipments from Brunei from memory.
Whereas we can basically deliver a clean, cost effective product wherever there is existing gas infrastructure or potential biogas production. No transport issues at all. And we should still qualify for most subsidies other than the ones written specifically to support self interested parties on the electrolysis gig.
