let’s be real, if this ends up being what we all hope it will be I don’t see the Aussies retaining control indefinitely and the ASX listing may become a secondary listing over time. I accept this and happy to go out at any decent premium depending on timing and prospects.
I wouldn’t discount the potential benefits of a bidding war, having an offtake partner is not always the bees knees (I know I just got burned on SYA and the Piedmont debacle dragging it down like an anchor). Unless you’ve got 100% offtake secured, look at how fun it is selling at spot right now. Even more volatility ahead as the Chinese seek to shutter western production assets and reset their lead time advantages.
and yes we are far getting ahead of ourselves here talking M&A pre PFS. But maybe not, I dunno?!
