Been a busy couple of days.....I've just discovered that 2 lots over the road from where my new house will be are under contract for a smidgeon less than $2 million.
That's $700k more than what I paid for mine a few months ago before the election. And I've got better views, a stream and pond. While it's on paper of course, when I do eventually sell, those gains will be tax free. I think you'll agree $700k (tax free) in 6 months is better than a gold bar or two.
Anyone who doesn't adjust for inflation is kidding themselves..
