of course he will never (allow himself to ) be toppled in an election of course..... but there are important people in russia in positions of power very disenchanted with what he has done to their country (and their wealth )......for these people a change in public sentiment gives them the permision they need .....if they have the ability and the cojones .....maybe the ambition (FSB?)
I gather while once strong supporters FSB are now being pushed further from power

it would require some networking and talking in russia is very dangerous ....would be convenient though if he were removed
this war hasn't been in russias interest for a long time - only putins
