Hi @Lapdog, you bring up an interesting point regarding Dutton's defense of Pell, which I'm not sure I've seen fully explored.
While Pell was eventually found innocent of personally committing sexual abuse, it is a matter of historical fact that Pell was responsible for moving priests known to be sexually abusing children to different dioceses.
Given Dutton seems to be of the opinion that Pell did nothing wrong, one wonders if Dutton would consider that sort of behaviour acceptable in the Dutton family child care business.
If one of his managers was abusing children, would Dutton think it appropriate to simply move them to a different child care site?
I certainly would want to know if Dutton considers that an appropriate way of dealing with pedos before sending any children to his business.
If he does not think that is an appropriate way of dealing with pedophiles in his organisation, then the obvious followup question is: Why does he support Pell?
