Should start with car price comparisons:

The five-strong Mazda 6 range provides an option for almost everyone, with a sedan or wagon available for each grade.
It opens with the entry-level G25 Sport at $35,540 before on-road costs,
while the flagship 20th Anniversary wagon tops the range at $54,935 plus on-roads.

Excerpt:
The Tesla Model 3 line-up currently starts at $57,400 for the Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive and
ranges through to $91,600 for the range-topping Model 3 Performance.
There is a $21k price difference at entry level and a whopping $36k on the top level for the two cars. Doctors can afford such - the average working person not so much.
Any saving in fuel costs pales in significance for the cost difference in the two car types. But then why would a doctor worry about fuel cost anyway - most are probably more likely to worry about status and keeping up appearances rather than practicality. Any practical person should see that the ICE vehicle offers better value. AIMO
