Really?? So then why would any simpleton quote fuel savings by being electric as against petrol?
It seems a simple person can work out that if an EV saves $2700 on fuel costs then the purchase price difference alone between the 2 quoted cars will free carry fuel purchases of at least 10 years on the two top line models. Take away any subsidies on offer and see how prices compare over the life cycle of a car and include all costs including depreciation. Then talk about environmental impacts and the costs of such.
