This stock and many others arent going to turn around unless the fall in lithium prices slows and eventually turns around. Now we know that with todays research, that is unlikely to be anytime soon. Are we all going to bitch and whinge our way all the way down?
What we need to do first is stop shitting on our own doorstep. We arent helping with all the negativity we are posting on here, or anywhere else.
We need to focus on reducing that production cost. First and foremost. And while we are doing that, lets fix our compliance issues.
And for god sake, leave the PLL offtake be. JB gave us a benchmark 1000/t AUD. If we produce at that figure then the PLL offtake will pay for SYQ to keep going. I asked the question about that at the AGM to give us some reassurance that at those levels, we still see a future. Sure our Carbonate plans may be delayed, but with GSux claiming $800/t U.S until 2026, what would you give to know if we would be still running by then? If we are, let me tell you that the Carbonate plant will be the farthest thing from our minds.
If there is anything the AGM showed us last weeks is A) we have quite a few problems to fix and B) They can ALL be fixed.
Look at all the money leaving the explorers right now? What they wouldn't give to be an early producer.
The Lithium price is EVERYONE's problem.
Lets fix our own.
What we should be doing now is redirecting some funds to hedge our business with our gold tenemants. Fk that would be exciting to be a bit deeper in that realm.
Im gonna give it a bit of a rest for a while, because im bloody exhausted. But lets stop trashing the joint anymore than its already being trashed and sprinkle some fairy dust on this turd and at least it will have a nice glittery coating that will help it last longer. We might get a bit of a kick out a Moblan DFS or a board aquisition or even a Jan 31 report with reduced production costs, then?
Keep your bloody chin up, guys.
