I spoke to one of the distributors in Australia who did a repair job in the mines in Orange NSW. I spoke to the guy who actually did the weld job as the company must not be that big. I asked about the costs of the metal. He said it was very cheap. From memory it was less than $200 per ???? the way they sell it, and he said it lasts a long time. I dont think there is much money in selling this.
TTT are not going to make a business out of selling machines. They need to take on jobs for high value industries and charge a lot of money per job. The speed for delivery and the better quality is the advantage. By doing a lot of work for industries they would get to develop methods and expand what they can offer... Its a waste of time selling machines for the purchasers to gain the expertise and do all the work for the high value companies. Just selling will cut their own throat.
