Investment giant Blackstone completed its $8.9 billion acquisition of Crown in June 2022, following a series of scandals that led to the company being subject to two separate royal commissions and the NSW investigation.
Crown chairman Bill McBeath admitted Blackstone had underestimated the amount of work required to revamp the casino giant's culture and systems, but expressed confidence it was on track to regain its licence.
