The MDT is a modular tool and the Saturn probe is one of the specialist probe modules you can run. Most likely tool configuration will be as follows:
- at least one conventional probe module...most likely dressed with an extra large diameter probe.
- a possible second conventional probe module with normal probe
- Saturn probe module
- two 6 pack 450cc sample tank carriers
- at least one larger MRSC sample chamber.
Where confirmation of fluid type is required asap a duplicate chamber will be cracked at surface and subjected to a very basic analysis. Remaining samples will go to a lab for a more detailed analysis.
