The price went up because they got contracts.
The problem is that they never converted those contracts. It was a mixture of the previous CEO trying to sign as many contracts as possible but the technology requires thorough R&D to produce any product.

We are still waiting on these joint ventures.
Repkon has an unknown timeline and the more likely first JV partner went bust due to inflated price of electricity in the UK
