The UK will support Ukraine financially next year at the same level it has been "or even ahead of what we've done", Lord Cameron has said.
The foreign secretary said he did not have a precise figure for 2024 but said it would not be dropping.
"We will continue to give the support that is necessary," he said.
Until now, he added, the UK has provided £4.6bn of military support.
Taking questions for the first time since being appointed to his new role, he said his recent visit to Ukraine had shown him "how much they rate our support, how they refer to us as their number one partner".
Lord Cameron also said Ukraine was making progress in its battle with Russia.
"The land picture is one thing," he said, "but what's happened on the Black Sea, where the Ukrainians have pushed the Russian navy right back, opening up a grain corridor for ships, is essential because we need the Ukrainian economy to grow.
"Ships are sailing, exports are moving, the economy is growing.
"They destroyed about a fifth of Russia's attack helicopters in one night recently.
"So yes there's been a difficult picture on land but overall big success.
"Combine that with the fact that this country is now knocking at the door of both NATO and the EU - that is a very positive picture for Ukraine."
