I assume no capital gains tax at coversion from 3 cent to a share of say 50 cents, option value would be about 47 cents.if this is so , why would you convert early , surely we are better off not converting until the share is worth say 1 dollar ,and no CGT event has occurred on the extra 50 cents. Or am I missing something. Thanks in advance
