Why would it have happened yesterday?
The placement shares outside of those going to Hebang and Directors in the future come onto the market on 13/12. That's 200+m new shares hitting the market. AEV averages about 4m turnover per day.
If I'm a soph, 25-50% return for < 1 week hold near Xmas/NY stacks up very nicely compared to XJO (1.8% YTD 2023 which is substantially less than a risk-free IBD).
It will be very bullish if AEV can hold 0.014-0.015 once those placement shares hit the market next week
