Your analysis seems fine to me - vanilla BNPL doesn't seem to be very profitable, but more general unsecured consumer lending can (and has been) profitable. ZIP does both and is evolving towards the latter, as is AFRM. Given the relative valuations from recent times, ZIP looked like an option on bankruptcy, so any good news is probably very good for the stock price as @bedger has pointed out.
Volumes obviously very high and the broker buy/sell shares won't be known till Tuesday for yesterday. Morrison still net buyers for the data that is available, looks like a pretty long campaign trade by someone(s) so far.
