We are entering a different reality for IVZ now.... big D, news profile, and a stream of even more impressive news on the way with LA sampling and onwards....

IVZ has some very significant data on hand now, just needs to be analysed and presented to paint an awesome picture.

What is being clarified is that IVZ are the opposite of the fabled Recon Africa, which went to circa $2.5 Billion MC on marketing hype, without a discovery.

In fact, I dare to suggest, IVZ will become everything Recon was pretending to be, and more.

Scott's conservative Ann strategy will start working, not only through building credibility, but because rather than one huge "changed the Universe" claim, the market will receive a stream of highly credible updates and upgrades, conducive to steadier, sustained price appreciation.

Not withstanding that, yes, seriously, we could do with much improved PR. There's a huge story here to get out. Not for vanity, but for fund raising - to ensure IVZ's independence, and to progress and uncover value as much as possible before the big deals are negotiated.

Scott has always had his eye on the long-term outcome. With conviction that IVZ had a potentially massive resource, he's focussed on the proving up process, knowing that ultimately his partners will be Governments (especially, of course, Zimbabwe's) and O&G majors.

Clearly there were painfully squeaky moments around finance, and with a slap dash performance from Baker Hugues. I fully understand Scott being close to tears about Discovery. Years of stress vindicated..... truly an Invictus moment.

There where park-bench alcoholics getting better deals on payday loans. Nothing could be more wrong than feeling IVZ owe any loyalty to these sharks.
