    Hmmm..
    So here we are?
Back in the CVM time loop and, in the meantime, ‘Kelowna Radio Sales and Repairs’  it is?
    — At least that’s  real.
    ….although I wonder how the Drake mob feel as I can’t see this enterprise listing on Wall Street any time soon;
as per the mentions/intentions   in 2019 (?) back in those 2022  ‘dark days’  of high dudgeon, passion and email chain excavations leading up to last year’s AGM, and extraordinary general meeting and board changes.

    — I wonder how they feel because US-based Drake is still the largest holder I think, and back when good ol’ Toby Chandler of SMN brought its’  boss into this company  it was with a view to a quick spin and flip (as per his self published letters).

LOL - Karma gets us all?

The sturdy little lifeboat that was Eagle Audio over in Kelowna Canada must have some good karma seeing as it  is now almost saving the neck of the  Australian public company that bought it, while  that  biggest holder sits over  in Texas counting the profits … except there are none.
…Just donuts on Fridays and the excitement of installing 34 radio sets  for Yellowhead helicoptors [ref] but, as said, at  no profit said that  (linked)  announcement of just a few weeks back.
(Of course there’s more but the story here lends itself to dranatisation … and I’m giving myself a quick ‘bed time story’ )

Luckily  - because our necks aren’t quite saved - the fact AEM won that  ‘best business in town’ award may help in getting the extension to the overdraft?

And to wrap this tale up, I was reminded today of some comments  made in 2019  by  AEM’s now-retired Brian Wall and from Tony Weller  in a story I shared here back on 16/03/22 [ref]
… “Quite simply, AEM is leading by design. “The systems and the categories that we operate in,” said Weller, “we’re ahead of the game. That’s for sure.”
In the past year, SMS Canada Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Structural Monitoring Systems plc of Australia, acquired AEM.
AEM and SMS had worked together for years to develop, produce and certify structural health monitoring technology, which the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration approved in 2018.

The merger puts AEM on excellent financial footing, with more capital at its disposal than ever before.

“Anything we decide we want to embark on now, or products that we wish to entertain, or different avenues we want to take, the capital investment is available,” said Brian Wall, general manager of AEM.
In fact, “AEM is actively looking for like companies to acquire that complement our existing product line,” said Wall.
The company isn’t releasing specific details about which new products will hit the market in the months ahead just yet, but the same commitment to quality and unparalleled customer service remains in place. “I think when readers see the words ‘AEM’ and ‘audio’ in the same sentence or paragraph, it’ll make sense to them,” said Weller. “They know where we’re probably headed.”

    ‘Ahead of the game?’
They were certainly ahead of CVM commercialisation weren’t they!
And I nominate them as the  main winners here (apart from those multi-million dollar extracting past board members) for reasons of Friday donuts and  for genuinely knowing the best way forward - even including how to get sponsored by an Australian public company!

And the wealth of other stories  at this   company,  including  the various personalities who inhabit this corner of Hot Copper, are worth putting in a book I think : )

    What a ride!

    And what’s next?

    cheers
