There are dozens of drug approved and unapproved that can help reduce the cardio damage caused by anthracycline, but they just aren’t used. The thing that makes Bisantrene special is it is both an anticancer agent and cardioprotective drug. This changes the whole pharmacoeconomics of Bisantrene.
